Hello and Welcome!

My name is Stephanie and I am the creator behind Meet Me Within Arts. I have been a creator my whole life, from drawing, written word, pottery, and theater. For the past five years, I have shifted my focus to acrylic painting, themed around nature with a whimsical amount of magic.

I have spent years finding my style and cherish the skills I have acquired as a self-taught artist. Being self-taught, I found myself feeling inferior to artists who were privileged enough to receive formal schooling. Eventually, I realized that all I would need to become an artist was to give myself permission, practice my craft, and obtain a few good brushes.

I am an avid believer that art is for everyone and our natural state is as creators. One of my missions as an artist is to inspire others to find their medium and dive into it. There is an imaginary barrier that separates people from the term artist. If they would try walking through it, they would see the illusion for what it is. We are all artists with unique voices!

I currently live in Southern Oregon and showcase my work in local businesses and exhibitions. I plan to greatly expand my work in the future and hope to achieve more, helping others along the way to do the same.
